Welcome to Junior Achievement of Chicago

Junior Achievement of Chicago has been providing quality economic education programs for over 65 years.  Since its charter in 1940, Junior Achievement of Chicago has reached nearly three million students in the greater Chicago metropolitan area with hands-on learning experiences.

Junior Achievement will reach 360,000 Chicagoland students during the 2007-2008 school year with our relevant economic education programs.  We believe as a community, we can start inspiring tomorrow's leaders to make successful choices today.

JA Scholarship Opportunities

Junior Achievement of Chicago has several scholarship opportunities and college tuition grants for high school seniors who are currently participating in a Junior Achievement program or who have participated in an elementary, middle, or high school program in the past.

Every year, more than 20 JA high school seniors in the Chicago area receive a total of over $100,000 in scholarships, thanks to our friends in the business, professional, and educational communities.  With their support and belief in higher education, our scholarship winners are provided with a terrific opportunity at future success.

The deadline to submit a scholarship application to JA of Chicago has closed. Thanks to all who submitted an application this year.  See who were the 2008 receipients in the "What's New" section!
