2023-2024 JA Scholarship Overview and Requirements
Scholarships Available for the 2023-2024 School Year:
Colonel Henry Crown Scholarship ($60,000), Sandy Daffé Future Leader Scholarship ($2,500), and General Scholarships ($1,000 - $5,000)
Deadline – Friday, April 19, 2024
- Submit Application here: Junior Achievement of Chicago 2023-2024 Scholarship (mykaleidoscope.com)
- Four (4) recipients will receive a Col. Henry Crown Scholarship ($60,000 over four years)
- One (1) recipient will receive the Sandy Daffé Future Leader Scholarship ($2,500); one-time payment to the college/university of your choice.
- Fifteen+ (15+) recipients will receive a scholarship ranging from $1,000 to $5,000; each scholarship is a one-time payment to the college/university of your choice.
High School Heroes Scholarship ($1,000)
Deadline – Friday, April 26, 2024
- Submit application here: Junior Achievement of Chicago High School Heroes 2023-2024 Scholarship (mykaleidoscope.com)
- Two recipients will each receive a $1,000 scholarship as a one-time payment to the college/university of your choice.
JA Company Program Essay Scholarship ($3,000 / $2,000)
Deadline – Friday, April 19, 2024
- Submit Application here: Junior Achievement of Chicago JA Company Program Essay 2023-2024 Scholarship
- Winning Essay recipient will receive a $3,000 scholarship
- Runner Up Essay recipient will receive a $2,000 scholarship
- Each recipient will receive the scholarship as a one-time payment to the college/university of your choice.
Scholarship Interview
- Scholarship Finalists must be available Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 3 for a 25-minute virtual interview to determine the scholarship recipients.
JA Experience Video
- Finalists must submit a video by Thursday, May 2 at https://apply.mykaleidoscope.com/scholarships/JAVideo2024
